SCRIPT FEEDBACK
Smart, thoughtful feedback—tailored specifically to you as a writer—is an invaluable part of writing a play. I have asked a few of my favorite collaborators to be part of this script feedback service. All of these artists are people who I have been sharing my own early work with for years.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Once you fill out the form and process your payment I will match you with a dramaturg. You will have a 15 minute call with them to assess whether it’s a match and tell them a few of your big burning questions about the play. Once you both confirm the match, they will do a careful reading of your script (60-130 pages) and then meet with you for an hour-long dramaturgical session to give you feedback, talk through your questions, and help you figure out how to get to the next draft.
HOW DO I GET MATCHED?
If you have a strong sense of who is the right match for you, great! If not, I can help you figure out who is well suited for your project. If you’re looking for something specific that you don’t see here, let me know. I have a broad network of artists who love new work. The artists listed here are some of the people I show my own early drafts to, so if you like working with me, chances are good you’ll like working with them.
WHAT THIS ISN’T
This service exists to provide artistic feedback. Dramaturgs don’t make introductions, write rec letters, or help with finding opportunities for the play. They’re here to help you get closer to your own unique vision and voice. If you need feedback on a kind of work not included here (musical, TV pilot, ten-minute plays, three-play epics) let me know and we’ll see what we can create for you.
THE TIMELINE
The timeline depends on the availability of the artists. If you have a time limit on when you need feedback, let me know and we’ll work together to find you a match who also meets your timing needs.
COST
$350, sliding scale down to $200
